A group I travel with once a year goes down to Mexico to a children’s home called City of Children. While down there, we accomplish many tasks each year, one of which is to do a project off-site with a group called Baja missions in which we travel down to an area of Baja California called Colonía 89. Our offsite projects have consisted of many things over the years but usually focus on building a home for a family in need. Above, I have pictured two different homes and an extension on one of the homes. For the first home pictured, built in 2022, I was tasked with helping put together the walls and roof. For the other home, built in 2023 with an extension put on in 2024, I was relied on to cut all of the used for the entirety of both builds with a cycle of assistants and other miscellaneous tasks.
